Fabric
Feirla shorts use a dual-fabric performance system:
- Outer short: 100% high-performance polyester Lightweight, durable, and built to withstand match play and repeated washing.
- Inner short: 80% polyester / 20% spandex Soft, flexible, and supportive four-way stretch for unrestricted movement.
This combination delivers durability on the outside and comfort, stretch, and support on the inside , designed specifically for female athletes.

- Cold machine wash on gentle cycle

Returns
If something isn’t right, you can return your item within 14 days of delivery.
- Items must be unworn, unused, and in original condition with tags attached.
- Once we receive and inspect the return, your refund will be issued to the original payment method.

Féirla Fit Guide
Féirla shorts are the first Gaelic football shorts designed specifically for female athletes. Because many players are used to unisex or male-cut shorts, the fit may feel slightly different at first.
General Fit Advice
- Prefer a more fitted feel? Choose your usual size.
- Prefer a looser fit on the leg? Consider sizing up.
- Stronger through the hips, glutes or thighs? You may find sizing up more comfortable.
Period Short Fit Advice
Our Period Short includes a built-in inner brief, so it may sit slightly longer on the leg than a standard short. Because of the inner layer, the shorts cannot be pulled up higher like regular styles.
If you are petite or shorter in height, this may be more noticeable. In this case, you may wish to choose your usual size or consider sizing down if you prefer the leg to sit slightly shorter.
Féirla shorts are designed to move with the female body choose the size that makes you feel most comfortable and confident on the pitch.
I love the idea of these shorts.
I like the high waist to hold in my tummy after having children and the leg support underneath give an extra bit of security.
The only flaw is that the layer underneath is a bit long. It's right at the shorts instead of being closer to my body and is causing bunching at the crotch area. Even just a few cm would make a big difference.
Thank you so much for your honest feedback. We’ve taken this on board and have since adjusted the measurements and introduced an additional gusset panel to help the inner layer sit closer to the body. Feedback like this genuinely helps us improve the fit.

Great idea, just found them short on the thigh as i am an older player. Love the high waste and the inner support, would love to get them in our club colours Navy and Red (similar design to the Navy and Blue) not sure ye have them yet but will keep an eye.
